Totally Guitars Weekly Wrap Up July 29, 2011

This week we rounded up a whole bunch of tunes for the Target Program-

Night Life by Willie Nelson
Aubrey by Bread
Castles In The Air by Don McLean
And I Love You So by Don McLean
Crying by Roy Orbison (with a bit on Don McLean’s arrangement

Then a couple of old Cowboy Songs-
The Streets Of Laredo
The Okld Chisholm Trail

The rush on the Target songs also means we now have 5-Packs available
with songs by Willie Nelson, Don McLean, and Bread.

We also brought out a set of lessons on an instrument I’m sure many of
our members have never heard of- the Chapman Stick. Virtuoso performer
and excellent teacher Bob Culbertson put this together with our own
vocal guru Jim Bruno and we are thrilled to be bringing it to
streaming video for the first time. even if you don’t think you will
get one and give it a try, you should check out Bob’s performances at
the end of most segments.

We got back on the stick (so to speak) about getting some Student
Reviews out. This week we saw a couple by long time members playing
Landslide and George Harrison’s Give Me Love. Next week hopefully a
few more, probably by first-time uploaders.

Hal Kinnaman brought us another advanced ukulele lesson with White
Sandy Beach. I know a lot of you are having fun with these, maybe
someone will add their own ukulele tune to the Student Reviews or the
Busking areas.

Till next week-

Stay Tuned& In Touch,

Neil
