This week I finished up a lesson I started a few weeks ago that got more and more involved as days went by. You might never know it from the fact that it only needed four parts but check out the slide guitar lesson on Available Space, an instrumental by Ry Cooder in Open G Tuning. The lesson also adds a few of Leo Kottke’s embellishments in his arrangement.

Other tunes that got a little attention in this week’s Update included my piece Quicksand, then back to the Open G tuning for Hula Blues and a little improv.

There were some other personal thoughts and discoveries, nothing music related but just on my mind.
