We wrapped up our 30-Day 3-Minute Challenge as March came to an end and congratulations go out to our four winners of strings from the Santa Cruz Guitar Company, as well as our grand prize winner in the U.K. who will be having a private lesson over Zoom with yours truly.

We recently released the latest addition to our Everyman’s Essentials set of packs – Neil’s Top Fingerpicking Songs – Volume 3. This one focuses on great songs for beginning students, along with a few that would be considered intermediate.

A couple students have been working on some songs that use common jazz voicings of chords. This inspired me to go into some common shapes and progressions, using just four strings. It probably got a bit confusing and I might add to it next week if there seems to be more confusion than comprehension.
