Once again James Taylor is high on the bandwidth meter here at Totally Guitars. We released two new lessons on songs of his: Steamroller and Anywhere Like Heaven. These will be part of our TG Live event tomorrow, Saturday August 16 at 11:00 Pacific time. I will be going over intros and licks from his album Sweet Baby James. Everyone attending will get attachments to print out and look at while I break them down..

The other big news is our friend Robert Witmeyer’s band Djangatos and their album release party is happening next Saturday, August 23 in Santa Cruz. We have tickets to give away by responding to a thread on our Forum.

As I was talking about the strumming techniques James uses in the song Sweet Baby James I got into a short tutorial about strumming with fingers. I hope some of you find it useful.
