Continuing with my Dropped D adventures, I went through some of what was mentioned last week (Ladye Nothinge, and Embryonic Journey) and added some John Denver and John Fahey to the mix. The lesson that triggered this was, of course Bert Jansch’s Black Waterside, which is now finished and added to the TG Library.

I was able to reconnect with Al Stewart a couple days ago and that refreshed some stories that are related in the lesson but also included here. The main thread had to do with Jimmy Page, who was on the session for Al’s first single, The Elf.

I am traveling late next week so may not be doing our Friday Updates for a couple weeks.
