Totally Guitars Weekly Wrap Up December 7th, 2012

As has become a habit lately, there is quite a bit of music involved
in today’s News. It started with a little improv on a Christmas tune,
maybe a bit melancholy but one of my favorites, and ended with a piece
by Francisco Tarrega, Adelita.
In between there was the update on this week’s contents, including
Reviews of If I Were A Carpenter and Mr. Soul, Fly On The Wall lessons
covering the solo part of Sandman and the beginning picking in Dust In
The Wind, and the Target release on Lou Reed’s Walk On The Wild Side.
This was followed with a comment on the Forum question about
fingerpicking directions, a recommendation on the movie Cadillac
Records, and an update on my progress with a couple of the classical
pieces I have been working on. I played a bit of the Villa-Lobos Etude
#1 and Bach’s Prelude In D Minor. There may have been some other
things included as the rambling progressed and I hope you enjoy the
journey…
