This week I had tunes in the key of E running through my head, both major and minor. Listen closely and you might hear and you should recognize Jorma Kaukonen, Doc Watson, The Beatles, The Allman Brothers, and maybe Santana, to name a few.

The ‘E’ theme also opened the door to talk a bit about diminished 7th chords, particularly due to one in Deep River Blues.

Our latest lesson this week was a look at You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me as originally done by Dusty Springfield, but with a look at Elvis’ cover a couple years later.
