This week we rolled out some great new lesson packs. These are sets of 5-6 songs by a classic band. The new artist packs featured The Alan Parsons Project and REO Speedwagon, along with my solo arrangements of Rolling Stones tunes and Fingerpicking Beatles Volume 3.

We also added Lesley Gore to our artist library with You Don’t Own Me.

Today’s theory tip came about because of an interesting clash of melody notes as heard in Imagine by John Lennon and Wild Horses. I addressed what the terms ‘add’ and ‘sus’ mean in chord names. This even led to a relatively recent hymn that you may be familiar with.
