Nice interview. Tiran is great not only at the stage & studio, he seems like a very nice fella.
Favorite Tiran Porter performance….On the Doobie’s song Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While) played live, when Michael McDonald would do the lead vocals, you can hear Tiran who is just playing these terrific jaw-dropping bass runs that are all over the place, and really made him stand out in a great way, that neither Willie Weeks nor Skylark could replicate that same spirit.
