I hope everybody (at least in the US) had a nice break yesterday with friends, family and food! I had a little trouble getting the News rolling this morning as there still was a lot of cleaning to do. I also hope everybody who enjoys the occasional madhouse gets out shopping today. For me, staying in with a leftover sandwich is top priority. The News today included a rundown of the new stuff, as well as an interesting gift I got a few days ago from one of our long-timers.

This week we wrapped up our Acoustic Snapshot series with Doug Young and friends, and added another tune from my set at Don Quixote’s. Our new lessons were Things Behind The Sun by Nick Drake, Lake Of Fire as done by Nirvana, Mother by Pink Floyd, and Forever In Blue Jeans by Neil Diamond. There was also a new Fly On The Wall with Kurt looking at some alternate chord shapes in Gregg Allman’s Melissa.
