The big news this week is that Max Rich will be joining us at IGC 2018 at Asilomar. Max will bring whole new dimension to camp so if you are on the fence this might be the time to jump in. This week Max brought us a fun lesson on The Beatles’ Back In The USSR, most of which is pretty easy to play. He also came up with a couple parts on improvising over changes for our Satin Doll lesson. I see a bigger role for Max evolving here at TG.

Vanessa’s addition to the Target library this week was another ‘twofer’, as in a pair of Elvis tunes, also pretty easy and fun to play, Don’t Be Cruel and Treat Me Nice. We also had an acoustic based tune by Chicago, Flight 602, that was mostly strumming but with a slightly tricky introduction.

The playing today was mostly bits and pieces of the new lessons, along with a hint of another Chicago acoustic one, ending with a little pastoral improv which I hope you enjoy.
