I was recently reminded of Neil Young’s fabulous site https://neilyoungarchives.com/ where he is doing things similar to many much less known artists, putting up free entertainment to help people get through these trying times. Everything I played (or stumbled through) today was inspired by this incredible artist.
It was an article in my local paper that took me to his site, but it was mostly about what many sites and people are doing to help keep people sane while under the current lockdown. I am fortunate to be able to continue giving lessons over the internet but many of us have time on our hands now that we might have felt guilty about using for personal time. Some of the places I found were mentioned in today’s update, including our local attraction, the Winchester Mystery House, where they are doing free virtual tours, and the San Francisco Symphony, who has started a series by outgoing conductor Michael Tilson Thomas on various composers and pieces,

And, on the really local front, Mama hummingbird is now out foraging for her two babes, born (hatched) this week. We expect to have very cool vids on the TG Hummer Cam
as the fledglings grow over the next few weeks, until Mama becomes an empty nester.
Back next week,
Neil
