As I look back and review some of the things we did at TG’s International Guitar Camp last week, a couple things come to mind that I thought I’d share with this audience. One of the workshops I gave was essentially ear training but using a classic Dylan song as an example. Another was inspired by one of our teacher’s performance of a popular standard from the 1950s. This led me into talking about fake books and the value of learning to read a lead sheet.

The last story was about parking lot purchases of music of questionable legality.
