I am almost feeling back in the swing of things now. I did manage to get to work on a couple upcoming lessons, and even got back in the teaching studio for a Fly On The Wall lesson. It has been many months since the last one of those was added but I plan to be doing more regularly now.

The FOTW this week featured Fred working on The Christmas Song. I usually tell students that the end of October is about time to refresh those tunes that you break out seasonally. We also looked a bit a couple others.

There were quite a few musical tangents this week, including The Theme From Mahogany, some Dave Van Ronk ragtime tunes, and a couple attempts at songs by The Seekers from the mid-1960s. I am sure some of you will remember Georgy Girl and I Know I’ll Never Find Another You. All of those are under consideration for future lessons, especially if I get some feedback about them on the TG Forum.
