This week I was still ruminating on Rolling Stones and quite a few of them made their way into today’s Update, along with a couple Dylan tunes. One of those demonstrates a very interesting chord progression using chords I through V in sequence, and the other is one I use as an exercise for getting better at barre chords. The barre chord discussion also includes another great exercise for building strength.

The new lesson this week were both solo guitar arrangements–Tommy Emmanuel’s take on And So It Goes by Billy Joel and my look at Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones.

We also are firmly entrenched in our 3-Minute Challenge and announced the winner of our Week 2 drawing. A set of Santa Cruz Guitar Company strings are on the way across the Atlantic to JeremyK.
