A random improv started today’s Update, followed by some discussion on time signatures and strumming techniques. The time signature thoughts cited Nights In White Satin, Lucky Man and Stormy Monday. The technique primer was on using rest strokes to hit bass notes cleanly. The progression to Mr. Bojangles was used as an example.

We are now open to registering guitar students for our Fall International Guitar Camp, running September 14-18

We also have two spots for our Spring IGC April 23-26, which is limited to 18 students.

New lesson this week was another from the Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show catalogue, A Little Bit More.
