John Renbourn has been on my mind a lot lately, obviously triggered by this week’s lesson on Cruel Sister from Pentangle’s album. I was inspired to get back to practicing some of his more technical pieces, particularly ones I have not done lessons on yet. This also meant a lot of playing in the Update and not much instruction, other than a comparison of four commonly used modes. This tied into another tune from the Cruel Sister album, Lord Franklin.

There were complete run throughs of Judy, Ladye Nothinges Toye Puffe, Another Monday and My Dear Boy, along with a bit of Debbie Anne. I hope you enjoy them and I hope to add some of them to the TG Library in the near future.
