Co-written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey, Take It Easy became the Eagles' debut single in 1972 and later appeared on Browne's For Everyman album.
The song is built around familiar chords and makes an excellent Campfire arrangement. The lesson also explores the syncopated strumming pattern that gives the introduction its distinctive sound.
A classic acoustic singalong and a natural companion to Our Lady of the Well, which follows it on For Everyman.
