Good Ole Boys Like Me is a song written by songwriter Bob McDill, and recorded by American country music artist Don Williams, AKA 'The Gentle Giant'.
This lesson teaches the arrangement with shapes in the key of G (Capo II) in standard tuning, as well as Open G Tuning (D-G-D-G-B-D). The latter is how Williams plays many of his songs.
We take a look at the chords for both tunings, the strumming including picking out bassnotes for the descending bassline in the chorus, and the little flatpicking intro. This might be challenging if you're a beginner, even though the chords are relatively easy.
There is an additional segment showing how to play the song in the key of C. It's my guess that it was originally written in that key, and it might be usefull for the ones who'd like to sing it a bit higher.
