Lesson notes

Jackson Browne's breakthrough hit from his 1972 debut album, Doctor My Eyes features an upbeat, piano-driven arrangement that translates beautifully to guitar.

The lesson draws primarily from live performances and includes an early guitar demo version featuring an additional verse and bridge in place of guitar solos.

You'll work through the chord shapes in E, the swinging strumming pattern, and the song's progression. The live outro introduces quarter-note triplets, offering an enjoyable challenge in rhythm and timing.
