Lesson notes

Go And Say Goodbye is a Stephen Stills tune from the first Buffalo Springfield album. It was later covered by Poco on Good Feeling To Know and continues to be played by Richie Furay to this day.

The song has a bluegrass feel and even uses a variation of the fiddle tune Salt Creek as part of the intro and solo. The strumming is also done in the bluegrass style.

This lesson starts with a breakdown of the Buffalo Springfield version, including the two guitar parts heard in the intro, the complete solo, and continues with looks at Poco's more rock arrangement in A, and the way Richie Furay plays it acoustically in G.
