The Dolphin's Cryby Live

The Dolphin's Cry is a song by American band Līve, and surely a fans favorite. It was released in 1999 as the lead single from their fourth studio album 'The Distance to Here'. 

The lesson is primarily based on how frontman Ed Kowalczyk performs it acoustically by himself.  As usual he tunes all six strings down a half step to Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb, but for this lesson we stay in standard tuning.

Regardless of the tuning, the chordshapes would be in the key of C#m. We take a look at those, and break down the strumming, the progression and arrangement. Especially the latter could be a little different here and there, since Ed barely plays and sings his songs the same way twice.
