In this jazz theory lesson we’re going to build on our previous look at minor ii-V-i progressions by adding a 4th note to our chords, creating richer voicings with multiple lines of motion. We’ll cover one of the most common sets of 4-note minor ii-V-i voicings that feature the addition of 9’s and #5’s.
