4 Flavors of F Minorby Piano Techniques

In this user-­requested lesson we’re going to look at some F minor chords. Specifically, we’re going to look at 4 different flavors—or colors—of scales and chords, all with F minor as a common theme. We’ll check out the F natural minor, F dorian, F melodic minor and F half­-diminished scales, with accompanying chords for each scale area, and then we’ll try out some different voicings for each chord.
