Slow 12/8 Minor Blues #3by Minor Blues Lessons

This is the third lesson in our minor 12/8 blues series, and this time we’re going to look at a chorus that’s a lot more nuanced in its harmony, with active voice leading in both the left and right hand parts. This chorus prominently features descending bass patterns and stride­style left hand, and in the right hand we’ll make use of different inversions and alterations for several of our chords. We’ll throw in a hip turnaround for good measure.
