This is Part 2 of a five-part series on the blues shuffle groove. Make sure to check out Part 1 for the fundamentals involved. In this lesson we’re going to modify our basic shuffle groove in G Major, adding the 7th to our main harmony chords. At the end of the form we’ll learn a new turnaround that’s a more complex version of the one that we learned in Part 1 , and for the ending, we’ll keep the same harmony and rhythm but modify the voicings.
