Bossa Nova Rhythm No. 2by Jazz Grooves

In this lesson we’re going to learn a new rhythmic accompaniment pattern for the bossa nova groove. This video builds upon the previous  Bossa Nova lessons, so if you haven’t already you may want to check those out, as they provide important foundation for this segment. We’re going to take a new bossa nova rhythm, which is more of a relaxed groove than the rhythm we learned in the previous lessons, and apply it to 5 different harmonic contexts, including 4 2-­bar patterns featuring 1, 2, 3 and 4 chords, and an 8­-bar pattern featuring the final 4­-chord sequence.
