Blues Basslines #1 - #4 Exercisesby Blues Exercises

This lesson is a follow­up to the lesson titled “5 Progressive Exercises,” also known as “Blues Comping #1,” so be sure to check out that lesson as well. In each of the four sections of this lesson, we’ll go over one chorus of a walking bass line using a different set of C Major blues changes. We’ll use the same systematic harmonic substitutions and progressions that we covered in the Comping lesson. Throughout each of the choruses I’ll try to integrate different bassline techniques so that by the end of the lesson you have a variety of options at your disposal.
