Lesson notes

In this lesson you'll learn "The World At Large," by Modest Mouse (composed by Isaac Brock, Dawn Gallucci, Eric Judy and Benjamin Weikel), from their 2005 album Good News for People Who Love Bad News. "The World At Large" features several layers of atmospheric harmony and melody fading in and out of prominence. The guitar, bass, keyboard, synth and vocal parts all blend together in various ways at different points in the tune. In this lesson we're going to do something a little bit different. Instead of learning an exact arrangement, you'll learn individual layers separately and then put them together in different combinations, giving you the tools you need to jam along with the song however you want.
