The song something stupid was originally recorded by Carson Parks who was a folk singer in Los Angeles in the 1960s. But the most successful and best-known version of the song was of course by Frank and Nancy Sinatra. The song spent 4 weeks at number 1 on the US Billboard hot 100 chart in 9 weeks on the adult contemporary chart becoming one of two Frank Sinatra gold single’s and it was Nancy Sinatra's 3rd. It was the 1st and only instance of father daughter number 1 song in America. This was a recommend a lesson song and was a lot of fun to do. René sings and breaks down her harmony parts, Jim does the breakdown for the male lead. Chest voice exercises are included in both the male and female breakdowns.
