Lesson notes

Before you learn the finer points of more complex and colorful chords you must first learn how simple chords relate to each other within a certain key. Most popular songs generally stay in one key and being able to play all the chords associated with that key is a huge advantage. Using 2 different major and minor keys for each example, this lesson takes you on a path to mastering your triads on all strings and in all 12 keys! • Triad chord scales in F and C major in various inversions • Triad chord scales in A and E minor on the lower strings and in various inversions • Explanation of how diatonic chord scales relate to various progressions and to the root chord
