Lesson notes

This lesson is for the intermediate player who wants to learn some new chord shapes and ways to use them in daily playing. One of the most common types of chords is a dominant7, and if you can begin the long journey of understanding its many variants, you’re going to be well on your way to being a great guitarist. In this lesson on one specific form of a dominant chord, called a dominant13, you’ll learn a ton of awesome new fingerings and ways of playing this as a substitute for an old dominant chord. Got a C7 that needs some spicing up? Make it a C13 and learn how to color your sound!
