Lesson notes

Crazy On You is a fast paced single from Heart's 1976 album "Dreamboat Annie". This is actually a relatively complicated song since it's really quick and has a lot of rhythmic passages with string skipping, so your right hand will have to be accurate. If you're comfortable with hybrid picking, it should make this one a little easier to get through, but either way this one will provide a good challenge for any level guitar player. There's an extensive introduction that has a different sound than the rest of the song which really showcases their musicality. There's an acoustic style of strumming over large A minor and F chords that makes a nice base for the single note guitar melody on top. The licks used in this song make good use of rhythmic phrasing and pull-offs to create a cyclical feeling in the phrase to keep things moving forward.
