China Grove is a great song by The Doobie Brothers from their 1973 album "The Captain and Me". The Doobie Brothers have that happy go lucky americano music sound due to their usage of major chords and major pentatonic scales. Like their other songs, it's very rhythmic and bouncy with sparse usage of hammer on or pull offs. The solo has a great blues vibe and incorporates a lot of repeated bending patterns as well as note repetition. It revolves more around an emotional and musical style of playing instead of pure technique, which can be easy to play but difficult to emulate effectively.
