Lesson notes

Cream's song Sunshine Of Your Love off of their 1967 album "Disraeli Gears" was one of the first songs that my guitar teacher ever taught me. This song incorporates power chords, dead notes, and string skipping all at a once, which can be unfamiliar to a beginner player but is a great way to get accustomed to playing more complicated chord shapes. Clapton uses a lot of question and answer techniques, where he'll play half of the riff and then answer the second half with an improvised pentatonic lick. This song will definitely help you to become a well rounded guitar player.
