Lesson notes

Virtually every blues guitar player has played this traditional hit since Robert Johnson wrote it around 1936. Although this song has been around for over 70 years, it’s Eric Clapton whose version comes to mind when thinking of Crossroads. While playing with Cream, Clapton arranged this tune to fit within the rock-blues style that was happening in the late 60’s. Here in this lesson, you’ll begin to understand how to play the main riffs of the song, as well as how to solo in the style of the great Eric Clapton.
