Lesson notes

If I Were A Carpenter is a Tim Hardin song that has been covered by many artists over the years and was a huge hit for Bobby Darrin in 1966. It is a very basic chord progression that can be accompanied in many different ways. In this lesson we look at a Campfire Version in standard tuning, the way Tim fingerpicked in Double Dropped D Tuning, and the way Robert Plant arranged in with some nice melodies picked out behind the vocals.
