We started with Eva Cassidy&#8217;s<br \/>\narrangement of Kathy&#8217;s Song, a beautiful song written by Paul Simon<br \/>\nthat was on Simon&#038;  Garfunkel&#8217;s second album, Sounds Of Silence.<\/p>\n<p>We continued with one of my favorites, Laughing by The Guess Who. This<br \/>\nis another example of a great collaboration between Randy Bachman and<br \/>\nBurton Cummings. At the end of the week we released Peter Gabrel&#8217;s<br \/>\nSolsbury Hill. This has been a favorite for guitar players since it<br \/>\ncame out in the late 70s, even though thick instrumentation, heavy on<br \/>\nkeyboards, really pushes the guitar licks into the background. This is<br \/>\na challenging instrumental piece.<\/p>\n<p>Joining our &#8216;Fly On The Wall&#8217; series this week were a couple of non-<br \/>\nTarget songs that really have enough info in them to teach you the<br \/>\nsong if you are interested. They were Bob Dylan&#8217;s Desolation Row and<br \/>\nanother oldie by Lobo, Me And You And A Dog Named Boo. After the two<br \/>\nLobo lesson with Fred I hope everybody who wants to play it can figure<br \/>\nit out. If not, try moving it up the recommended list.<\/p>\n<p>We also had a couple Student Reviews. We had an upload from Matt<br \/>\nplaying Embryonic Journey and another from Buddy doing Hallelujah.<br \/>\nThese were very good renditions and there were a few suggestions to<br \/>\nhelp advance them a little more.<\/p>\n<p>Many of our members prefer to get their lessons in packs of songs by a<br \/>\nparticular artist.
