That was remedied with a new lesson on <a href=\"https:\/\/totallyguitars.com\/lessons\/2993-after-the-thrill-is-gone\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">After The Thrill Is Gone<\/a> and the addition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/totallyguitars.com\/lessons\/1876-ol-55-tom-waits-eagles-guitar-lesson\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eagles&#8217; cover of Tom Waits&#8217; Ol&#8217; 55<\/a> to a lesson on Tom&#8217;s version we have had up for years.<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s Update started with a bit of improvising on Windy &#038; Warm thanks to a couple students working on it recently. There was also a take on Ol&#8217; 55 touched on, along with a bit of Led Zeppelin which crept in somehow.<\/p>\n<p>You may have noticed the return of my Santa Cruz guitar, which has been MIA since it lost a battle with an errant cue ball courtesy of some young relatives at the pool table a couple months ago. A brilliant and talented luthier at The Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Darren to be specific, did a miraculous job restoring and repairing the guitar. Before and after pics are attached at the end of this video.<\/p>\n<p>We are at the end of our second week of the 3-Minute 30-Day Challenge and I have really enjoyed reading about what folks are working on. We awarded our first week&#8217;s prize and there are three more to come before we pick a grand prize winner.
