Then A with the E bass. That\u2019s very guessable. Hear that?<br \/>\nNeil: Yeah.<br \/>\nTommy: That\u2019s why that song touches people because it\u2019s one of the greatest songs ever written. Then the bridge in that song is a true masterpiece.<br \/>\nNeil: Yeah.<br \/>\nTommy: (Playing the guitar and sing). Now, we\u2019re in G.<br \/>\nNeil: Yeah.<br \/>\nTommy: Wow!<br \/>\nNeil: And the melody that kicks\u2026<br \/>\nTommy: (Playing the guitar and sing)<br \/>\nNeil: Kicks the melody out there.<br \/>\nTommy: (Playing the guitar and sing)<br \/>\nNeil: Wow! Yeah.<br \/>\nTommy: Oh men! Not many people have written anything that powerful. It\u2019s just so powerful. And yet, it\u2019s just a few chords, isn\u2019t it?<br \/>\nNeil: Normal descending bass progression, nothing\u2026<br \/>\nTommy: That\u2019s the\u2026 That\u2019s what makes Eric Clapton so great.<br \/>\nNeil: Yeah.<br \/>\nTommy: He says so much but so little. And that\u2019s a powerful gift.<br \/>\nNeil: You know, you\u2019re talking about Billy Joel and, \u2018coz like She&#8217;s Always A Woman is great example of that too. Just the melo\u2026 the baseline goes back to A Whiter Shade of Pale.<br \/>\nTommy: That\u2019s right.
