These are referred to as parallel rather than relative, but hopefully the short explanation will help keep the differences clear. This was partly inspired by one of this week\u2019s new lessons, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"ttps:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/575-traffic\/28328-the-low-spark-of-high-heeled-boys-by-traffic-guitar-lesson.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys<\/a>, which I got to because of a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/160-request-a-lesson.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"request on the Forum (opens in a new tab)\">request on the Forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other new lesson this week were <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Stevie Wonder\u2019s My Cherie Amour (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/749-stevie-wonder\/28327-my-cherie-amour-by-stevie-wonder-guitar-lesson.html\" target=\"_blank\">Stevie Wonder\u2019s My Cherie Amour<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/833-christopher-cross\/28329-sailing-by-christopher-cross-guitar-lesson.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sailing by Christopher Cross (opens in a new tab)\">Sailing by Christopher Cross<\/a>. The latter being done in Open D and featuring a bunch of unusual sounding chords, but like many open tuning songs, not particularly hard to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The really big news this week though was that TG is moving on from flash based video into a player that should make everybody\u2019s viewing world better, as long as you are using Firefox or Chrome. This is likely to expand to a few others in the near future but for now please try our stuff on one of those two and let us know how it goes for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are getting down to the last couple weeks before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalguitarcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"IGC  (opens in a new tab)\">IGC <\/a>and would be happy to add a few more folks to the list if you are on the fence at all.
