He was a huge influence on me as a teenager, which also made me pick up a guitar that must be considered antique by now, and which I grab for a few notes at the end of the video. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Here is a podcast (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/lost-notes\/id1368608676?i=1000439207772\" target=\"_blank\">Here is a podcast<\/a> that was sent to me that really started the journey through the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Near\nthe end I also stumbled through what I could remember of his tune Some Summer\nDay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"John Fahey - Some Summer Day\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Kpfz0AuyE2U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On\nthe technical side I had some tips for improving barre chords as well as some\nthoughts on beautiful and sad songs.
