One was holding notes to keep voices independent in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"John Renbourn\u2019s Judy (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/1\/4935-judy-guitar-lesson\" target=\"_blank\">John Renbourn\u2019s Judy<\/a>, and the other was about the harmonic minor scale and how it alters the natural minor scale. I opened with an improv in A Minor which did use the harmonic mostly. There was also a personal story on how this week\u2019s release of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Tom Petty 5-Pack  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/online-guitar-lessons\/index.php?option=bands&amp;band=-4080\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Petty 5-Pack <\/a>struck a chord with an old friend who tracked me down to let me know it got him back into loving the guitar. Another slight diversion went into the post of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/20-other-musicians\/146659-questions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Tommy Emmanuel and his piece Questions (opens in a new tab)\">Tommy Emmanuel and his piece Questions<\/a>.
