This morning I started a project of restringing and cleaning up my old Santa Cruz guitar (details on why are in the update), which, like many projects, led to an unplanned string of events. I ended up doing four guitars once I had all the stuff out and ready to go. This makes me remind you to change your strings more often.<\/p>\n<p>There have been some great posts lately, particularly on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/149-busking-with-tg.html\">Busking Forum<\/a>. I really enjoyed Carol\u2019s version of the O\u2019Carolan classic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/149-busking-with-tg\/142984-si-bheag-si-mhor-by-carol-m.html\">Si Bheag Si Mhor<\/a> (as well as Dermot\u2019s history addition), and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/149-busking-with-tg\/142940-dawn-is-a-feeling.html\">Moody Blues<\/a> are always appreciated. I should make it a point to do lessons on the entire catalog of theirs.<\/p>\n<p>The noodling today included a Linda classic, a little Leonard Bernstein, and even a chipmunk-type version of Puff The Magic Dragon, really used as a prologue to some thoughts on blues and turnarounds, along with quite a bit of solo jamming in E. Hopefully there will be something in there for everybody to add to their toolbox.<\/p>\n<p>The recent lessons included <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/511-doors\/28026-light-my-fire-the-doors-guitar-lesson.html\">Light My Fire by The Doors<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/749-stevie-wonder\/28029-master-blaster-stevie-wonder-guitar-lesson.html\">Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/777-racoon\/28028-love-you-more-racoon-guitar-lesson.html\">Love You More by Racoon<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/778-cliff-richard\/28030-living-doll-cliff-richard-guitar-lesson.html\">Living Doll by Cliff Richard<\/a>. We also released a few new artist packs, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/online-guitar-lessons\/index.php?option=bands&#038;band=-4061\">The Bee Gees<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/online-guitar-lessons\/index.php?option=bands&#038;band=-4063\">Eric Clapton #2<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/online-guitar-lessons\/index.php?option=bands&#038;band=-4062\">Dire Straits<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also mentioned some of the lessons that are under construction here at TG Central, which keep getting more and more involved but they should see the light of day soon.<\/p>\n<p>So off to the Los Gatos Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony for me, my yearly contribution to our little town.<\/p>\n<p>Happy heading into the serious holidays week\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Neil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Improve Your Guitar Skills with the online guitars lessons from Totally Guitars!
