The plan was somewhat successful and today\u2019s update included a few pieces that were in danger of falling off the radar. I hope you enjoy them in their various states of repair. <\/p>\n<p>Mixed in there someplace was a review of modes (thanks to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/80-theory-general\/138080-theory-question-regarding-key-of-a-song.html\">great question<\/a> on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/latest.html\">Forum<\/a>), which included a couple improvised progressions to try and clear or muddy the issue, comments on some great work on originals from a couple long time contributors, a mention of Santa Cruz Guitar Company reaching the 40 year old milestone, a Graham Nash story or two, and no real answer to last week\u2019s brain teaser, for no logical reason.<\/p>\n<p>The new stuff this week included two lessons from Vanessa, Bonnie Raitt\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/730-bonnie-raitt\/27900-i-can-t-make-you-love-me-bonnie-raitt-guitar-lesson.html\">I Can\u2019t Make You Love Me<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/731-richard-marx\/27902-right-here-waiting-richard-marx-guitar-lesson.html\">Right Here Waiting<\/a> by Richard Marx, another installment in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/476-john-renbourn\/27898-bicycle-tune-john-renbourn-guitar-lesson.html\">John Renbourn\u2019s Bicycle Tune<\/a>, and a continuing look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/494-fly-on-the-wall\/27901-just-a-song-before-i-go-lesson-3-with-sandy.html\">Sandy working on playing a solo in Just A Song Before I Go<\/a>. \u2026and an ending with a few bluegrass licks, for no apparent reason either.<\/p>\n<p>Next week, some Halloween specials (maybe!).<\/p>\n<p>Neil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Master Your Favorite Tune with the online guitars lessons from Totally Guitars!
