If you haven\u2019t, and still want to give it a go, you might want to hold off on watching today\u2019s News, as I started (and ended) with a little improv on the progression. I really should practice that type of thing without the camera running but, hey, we\u2019re all family here anyway, right?<\/p>\n<p>I am happy to see the comments on all the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/161-listen-up-musical-challenges.html\">ear training<\/a> stuff we have been doing lately. The more you do it, the better you get. Then you become more self-sufficient as far as learning new songs. As your experience and confidence build you will be able to stop relying teachers and\u2026, wait, forget I ever said that.<\/p>\n<p>This week we added the second guitar part to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/409-doobie-brothers\/27805-toulouse-street-the-doobie-brothers-guitar-lesson.html\">Toulouse Street by The Doobie Brothers<\/a>, brought out a \u2018Work It Out\u2019 lesson on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/706-lobo\/27816-me-and-you-and-a-dog-named-boo-lobo-guitar-lesson.html\">Lobo\u2019s You And Me And A Dog Named Boo<\/a>, and had an info-loaded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/494-fly-on-the-wall\/27818-this-caged-thing-with-ed.html\">Fly On The Wall lesson with Ed<\/a>. That lesson started with a simple question on using a capo for second guitar parts and took off into all kinds of tangential, but essential nuggets.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s wrap up I had a few thoughts on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/4-general-acoustic-guitar-discussion-\/135286-what-motivates-you-to-improve.html\">motivation thread<\/a> and the pain inflicted by alternate chord fingerings before winding up going over the chord progression in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/161-listen-up-musical-challenges\/135254-dan-hicks-how-can-i-miss-you-when-you-wont-go-away.html\">How Can I Miss You When You Won\u2019t Go Away?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week we may have set the record for the number of references to songs with too many words in the title.
