I can finally play with no pain to speak of, which brings good and bad news. Good that I\u2019m playing a lot, bad that it is so much fun I didn\u2019t manage to get to the lessons I have been planning. Oh well, maybe next week. I do want to thank Vanessa and Max for picking up the slack with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/511-doors\/27798-twentieth-century-fox-the-doors-guitar-lesson.html\">Twentieth Century Fox<\/a> by The Doors and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/587-green-day\/27799-wake-me-up-when-september-ends-green-day-guitar-lesson.html\">Wake Me Up When September Ends<\/a> by Green Day.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Max, I had a chance to preview his new DVD set, <a href=\"http:\/\/simpleleadguitar.com\/sales-page8395081\">Simple Lead Guitar<\/a>. It has a bunch of great concepts and information on becoming a better lead player. Even if you have not done much but want to, it will take you in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>And then, speaking of new directions, Sandy embarked on a new career as a bass player. We managed to capture some of her first lesson on the bass as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/target-songs\/494-fly-on-the-wall\/27800-bass-lesson-1-with-sandy.html\">Fly On The Wall<\/a> this week. There are a few good fundamental tips on bass playing in there.<\/p>\n<p>It was cool to see JimC\u2019s rendition of the old Jim Kweskin Jug Band tune <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totallyguitars.com\/forum\/149-busking-with-tg\/134473-busking-jug-band-music.html\">Mobile Line<\/a>. It brought up a couple interesting trivia questions. Neither of which should be too hard if you are old enough\u2026<\/p>\n<p>On another front, it is seeming unlikely that we will be able to get enough interest in IGC Europe for 2016 unless a bunch of people come out of the woodwork soon. We may turn our energies toward the East Coast instead, possibly in early 2017.
