This week we hit a few heavily requested tunes from our Recommend A
Lesson section, and stepped into the world of the Wilson sisters,
better known as Heart. Their first album, Dreamboat Annie showcased
Ann’s vocals and Nancy’s guitar skills and they made a big splash in
the world of rock. Our lessons this week included Crazy On You and its
short acoustic intro Silver Wheels. Both of these are pretty high on
the level of difficulty scale but great tunes for students to work
towards.

We also added a somewhat easier song with Bob Seger’s You’ll Accomp’ny
Me. This lesson focused on some syncopated strumming techniques.

Our Fly On The Wall series continued with a look at Sandy working on
learning to strum using a pick, and Fred starting this week’s Bob
Seger song You’ll Accomp’ny Me. These ‘eavesdropping’ lessons always
seem to include some good ideas, regardless on the subject or song.

As usual, we put up a couple of Student Reviews for our Target
Members, with tips on Give A Little Bit by Supertramp, and America’s
Sister Golden Hair.

We want to remind all our Target Members that they have free access to
our sister site, TotallyVocals.com for two months. this would of
course be extended to any new Target Members as well. Our vocal guru,
Jim Bruno is an incredible resource with a wealth of knowledge that he
is now sharing with the world at TV.

That’s it for this day, with autumn closing in…

Stay Tuned & In Touch,

Neil
