Today I started with the lap steel and played a bit of the new lesson on Sleep Walk, thinking I was ready to retire that guitar for a little while. And of course, something happened to change the course. I may have one more short solo I need to tackle soon (hints provided in a messy attempt at some of the licks).

We also had new lessons on Carole King’s Home Again and Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know. I did manage to tie up another loose end with my solo arrangement of Let It Be Me.

There were a couple short improvs and then noticeable nods to Mark Knopfler and Jerry Garcia. Next week is still in development but I do hear we have Wasted Time by The Eagles in the queue.

And the hummingbirds are growing every day. I am trying to add new highlights videos as they come in. The live feed is a bit dull mostly now, much like last week.

Beck soon,

Neil
