Today’s update started with attempting a solo version of Rainbow Connection and ended with a short blues improv in E. In between there was a rundown of recent lessons, a little more of my Muppet story and history, a mention of upcoming Webinars that we hope to get rolling soon, and a call out to our KOA members to check in on their Forum.

New lessons this week were Hold The Line by Toto, Runaway by The Corrs, and Rainbow Connection. Next week we will have a Miles Davis blues tune known as No Blues or Pfrancing, Cliff Richard’s The Young Ones, and one or two of the instrumentals that I have under construction.

See you soon,

Neil

Hi. I’m Cindy. Really enjoying my lessons! Thank you. Working on Never Going Back Again. I have a request. I’m a big Heart fan. Nancy Wilson is the reason lots of women my age play guitar. She WAS the only role model we had. The thing I love about Nancys playing is the aggressive acoustic style. Please, please have a lesson on Even It Up. She did an incredible acoustic version on her solo album, Live at McCabes. As a female guitarist, I’m always looking for those songs I can sing that speak to me as a woman. I love classic rock, but so much is from a mans perspective. Even It Up is an anthem for us women rockers. It would be such a rocking song to break out at a gig! I would pay double!!!!!!
